Healthy ChickPea Brownies did someone say?

Here's another healthy recipe that's quick and easy to do and of course very tasty!
With just a few ingredients you'll have these knocked up in no time.
So let's get started on how to make these bad boys. And trust me you will want to keep
making these over and over again they are sooo good!

You will need:
One can of 400g Chickpeas
1/3 Cup of Almond Milk
1/3 Cup of Buckwheat Flour
1 tsp of Bicarbonate of Soda or Baking Powder
2 Tbsp of Coco Powder
3 Tbsp of Honey
2 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
2 Tbsp of Cacao Nibs
And a Blender or Food Processor
Method:
First Rinse your chickpeas under water

Then add to a blender or food processor

Next add in the coco powder (I like to use 100%)

The peanut butter, honey and Bicarbonate of Soda or Baking Powder
The Almond milk

Then blend together ( It's ok if some chickpeas are still whole)

Next line a baking tin with baking paper

Spoon in your mixture and spread out to the edges of the tin
Add the cacao nibs and push some down into the mixture
Place in pre-heated oven on 180'C and cook for 25 minutes
Once cooked remove from the tin and place on a cooling rack to cool

Then Cut into cubes

You are ready to eat!


Ok, so why buckwheat? You can if you want to use normal flour but Buckwheat has these super benefits:
Improved heart health- helps to reduce inflammation and lower bad cholesterol levels, both of which are important for maintaining heart health. It also helps stabilise blood pressure and reduce cholesterol.
Reduced blood sugar. The carbohydrate content is absorbed slowly into the blood stream, giving you a steady flow of energy.
Gluten free
Rich in fibre
Great plant protein
