Who doesn't love a banana ?

This recipe is really feeding the body so much goodness. Containing Flax seed which is also.....

Peanut butter, one of my all time favourites which is...

  • Rich in Protein

Pumpkin seeds...


  • Rich in vitamins and minerals like magnesium and vitamin k (these are important in helping wounds heal)

So now we know what is in these fantastic cookies, let me show you how to make them...



You will need

  • 2 Cups of Oats

  • Two ripe Bananas

  • 1/4 Cup of Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1/4 Cup of Dates

  • 1 Table Spoon of Flaxseed

  • 1/4 Cup of Peanut butter

  • 2 Table Spoons of Honey

METHOD

  • Start by mashing the bananas with a fork until nice and smooth

  • Pour in the oats

  • Then the Pumpkin Seeds

  • The Dates

  • And Flaxseed

  • Add the Peanut Butter and Honey

  • Give it a really good mix

  • Place some baking paper on a baking tray and get ready to make your cookies

  • Grab some mixture and form into balls

  • Place on the tray and push with a spoon to flatten


  • Place in the oven on 180'C and cook for 20 minutes

  • Once cooked place on a rack to cool

  • Now you're ready to EAT!!!




I love to take these to work they are brilliant for giving me that extra energy boost. My job is physical and as oats are fantastic because they release energy slowly this helps keep me moving for so much longer.


A chocolate bar might be that easy quick go to snack but due to the sugar content you will get that quick burst of energy fast but it will quickly disappear causing you to become sluggish.
