Now who doesn't love pancakes?
And who doesn't love them even more when they are healthy ones?
If you answered Yes then you'r going to love this.
I am going to show you a quick and easy recipe that is so good and so damn tasty that you will want to keep doing it over and over again.
If you have read my previous foodie blog posts you will know how much I love an energy booster and these are excellent for that. They are also perfect as a post workout meal.
Filled with oats for your healthy carbs and peanut butter for protein, this is excellent for muscle recovery.
Banana is a great energy booster, so why not try this pre workout and you really will be.....
SO LETS GET STARTED

YOU WILL NEED
FOR THE PANCAKE MIXTURE:
1 Banana
1 Cup of Oats
150ml of Almond Milk
1 TBSP Peanut Butter
Food Processor/Blender
FOR THE PAN:
Coconut Oil
FOR THE PLATE:
Fruit- Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries (any other fruit of choice)
Honey
Full Fat Greek Yogurt (less sugars and keeps ups fuller for longer)
METHOD
Add 1 banana to a food processor or blender

Then add 1 Cup of oats

1 TBSP Peanut Butter

150ml Almond Milk

Blend together until nice and smooth and should be quite thick.
Next add some Coconut oil to a frying pan

Grab your mixture and pour or spoon some mixture into small circles into the pan
Press out the mixture using a spatular

Once they start to form little bubbles you can then flip them

They will start to brown both sides and then they are done

Keep going until you use all the mixture.
Next Grab your fruit
Greek Yogurt
Honey
Add to your pancake stacked plate

Ok, so I do like to add some Nutella......

Don't go too mad as it is high in sugar and calories but I will tell you........
Nutella is rich in fibre which helps in controlling your cholesterol levels.
It reduces the risk of developing heart diseases.
Nutella contains calcium that strengthens your bones and teeth.
The iron in Nutella helps in making red blood cells in your body and also protects your immune system.

So there you have it a quick, easy, healthy pancake recipe.
Why don't you give it a go.
